Agape Music Stylings performs elegant, acoustic music for weddings, churches, funerals, receptions, dinners and parties, holiday celebrations, important corporate events, and retirement communities. The Satin Strings Quartet was formed in 1984 by four professional musicians playing together in various orchestras such as the Portland Chamber Orchestra, the Columbia Symphony, the Vancouver Symphony, the Portland Opera and the Oregon Ballet Theater. Theirs was the featured quartet at the Greater Portland Bridal Faire for several years. This versatile group of musicians features the traditional trio or quartet of one or two violins, plus a viola and cello. You may substitute a flute for a violin. A variety of different duets and solo instruments are also available, including trumpet, for majestic bridal processionals. In keeping with their motto, “Bach to Beatles,” they have the largest music repertoire in the Portland area and would love to play your favorites!

Agape Music includes a pianist of many styles, and church organist. Carol Hawes is an accomplished musician, and a member of the American Guild of Organists. She has played for thousands of services and for events and will accompany a vocalist if you wish. She has much experience playing for Sing-A-Long groups.
